SACRED

“Sacred” is my 2023 collection of hand printed and hand embroidered tapestries. The imagery and symbolism is inspired by the eight Pagan Sabbats. The focus of these holidays is to reflect and honor our connection to nature, our fellow man, and the ways that we contribute to our community and environment. To create these pieces I pulled imagery from my 2023 Altar Card collection and re-imagined them as wall hangings. I wanted to bring my hand as an artist into the pieces beyond the digital illustrations, as well as nod to the traditional work of embroidery that historically has been done by women.
